Daniel Boulud is delighted to offer his guests The Bellecour Room, an elegant private function room for festive entertaining. The Bellecour Room accommodates up to 90 guests for lunch and dinner or 150 for cocktails and is a perfect setting for both private and corporate celebrations. This completely private dining room is located just off the restaurant's lounge and is naturally lit through a series of windows facing East 65th Street. The room is wheelchair accessible.

The majestic Main Dining Room at DANIEL is also available for your private or corporate events at lunch time and on Sundays. The main dining room and its stunning decor with soaring 18 foot coffered ceilings, carved pilasters and arcaded balcony are reminiscent of a Venetian Renaissance palazzo, a regal setting whose renowned seasonal cuisine and impeccable service will enhance the prestige of your event. The room accommodates up to 140 guests for seated lunches and dinners.

Our Private Dining Director, Ryan Buttner, looks forward to taking personal care of every detail of your entertaining needs, from floral decoration to custom printed menus, custom table linens and musical entertainment.

Cuisine
Our contemporary French cuisine celebrates each season's most glorious ingredients and reveals their delicious flavors. Whether you are planning a simple three-course luncheon or an elaborate six-course dinner, Chef Daniel Boulud would be delighted to create a custom menu for you and your guests chosen from a delectable selection of canapés, hot and cold appetizers, main courses and sumptuous desserts.

The Wine Cellar
Our wine list is composed of over 1,200 selections, including many rare Bordeaux and Burgundies. Chef Daniel Boulud and Sommelier Philippe Marchal have designed a wine list as impressive for its range and depth as for its clarity and accessibility. He has filled our wine cellar with some of the finest and hard to find American red wines, superb Italian vintages, many artisinaly produced wines, a broad choice of wines offered by the glass as well as Chef Daniel Boulud's favorites from his native Rhône region. In addition, we offer an extensive list of digestifs including a vertical selection of Calvados dating from 1948, old Armagnacs and Cognacs. Our sommeliers would be more than happy to recommend wine selections to accompany your custom menu.

Decor
Enter the Bellecour room - named for a square in the heart of Lyon - through a striking pair of mahogany lacquered doors and you will find yourself in an inviting salon with the sophisticated feel of a private club. Warm cherry wood paneling offers an elegant counterpoint to the ecru stuccoed walls, while caramel-colored leather furnishings add a sense of luxurious comfort. A revolving collection of striking contemporary art completes the setting's refined appeal.

For a final decorative touch, our florist, Olivier of L' Olivier,, would be happy to provide floral arrangements to suit the theme of your celebration.

Please call our Private Dining Director to arrange for a tour of the Bellecour room. In the meantime, we remain at your disposal for any questions you may have and look forward to creating a wonderful event for you and your guests. You may contact Ryan Buttner for more information or submit our private event Inquiry Form.
